Products & Materials
What is the difference between marble, quartzite, and granite?
Marble is a metamorphic rock known for its distinctive veining and softer composition. Quartzite is also metamorphic but much harder and more heat-resistant. Granite is an igneous rock, exceptionally durable and resistant to scratching and heat.
What is sintered stone and how is it different from engineered stone?
Sintered stone is made from natural minerals compressed under extreme heat and pressure without resins. Unlike engineered stone (which contains harmful silica-laden resins and is banned in Australia), sintered stone is completely safe, non-porous, and compliant with Australian workplace safety regulations.
Where can you use Sintered Stone?
Sintered stone is remarkably versatile and can be used across almost any application-indoors or out. It's ideal for kitchen benchtops, splashbacks, vanities, flooring, wall cladding, fireplaces and furniture, as well as outdoor kitchens and facades. Its non-porous, heat-resistant and UV-stable properties make it perfectly suited to both residential and commercial spaces, delivering the look of natural stone with exceptional durability and consistency.
Is Natural Stone better than Sintered Stone?
Neither is better or worse—each offers its own advantages. The right choice depends on how the surface will be used, the level of maintenance you're comfortable with, your budget, and your personal preference. Natural stone is valued for its individuality and organic character, while sintered stone offers consistency, durability and ease of care. Both are exceptional materials; the best option is the one that suits your space, lifestyle and vision.

Showroom & Viewing
Do I need an appointment to visit the showroom?
We recommend booking an appointment to ensure a specialist is available to assist you with your specific project needs.
What should I bring to a showroom visit?
Bring project plans, dimensions, photos of your space, and any color samples (cabinetry, flooring, paint). This helps us guide you to the best material choices.
Can I take samples home?
Yes. We offer small samples so you can view your chosen surfaces in your own space and natural light. Simply speak with a member of our team during your visit to arrange this. Our showroom also displays full slabs from across the range, allowing you to see how each surface works alongside your other finishes. It's great way to refine your selection and move forward with confidence.
Installation & Care
Do you offer installation services?
We supply materials only, but we can recommend experienced fabricators and installers in your area. Many of our trade customers provide full installation services.
How do I care for my natural stone surfaces?
Care varies by material. Generally, use pH-neutral cleaners, avoid acidic substances on marble and limestone, and reseal porous stones annually. We provide detailed care guides for each material type.
Does natural stone need to be sealed?
Porous stones like marble, limestone, and some granites benefit from sealing to protect against staining. Denser stones like quartzite and sintered stone typically do not require sealing.
